Since obtaining his law degree in 2005, Theo has acquired substantial experience as an advocate, counselor and litigator.  He began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable Susan Crawford (Retired) of the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces in Washington, DC. 

Following his clerkship, Theo entered private practice.  As an advocate, Theo has litigated torts, claims of discrimination and contract matters in various forums and jurisdictions.  In addition, he has participated in dispute settlement and collective bargaining negotiations.  As a counselor, Theo has expertise in drafting and advising clients on employment and separation agreements as well as organizing union election campaigns. His performance of internal audits and related counseling has proven invaluable to clients facing compliance issues such as wage/hour calculation.  Theo is also skilled in assisting clients in the development of policies, handbooks and training materials.

Theo’s experience as a labor and employment litigator creates a bridge between the firm’s litigation team and its employment law team.  Clients now have access to a global perspective on this practice area unique to Northwest Georgia.
