Litigation
The Litigation Section of Minor, Bell & Neal engages in all types
of trial and appellate practice in state and federal courts, and concentrates
primarily in the areas of business and defense litigation. The members
of the Litigation Section have a long history of defending medical malpractice
cases, in addition to representing businesses in complex commercial cases,
including class action litigation. The members of the Litigation Section
have also represented plaintiffs and defendants in employment discrimination
and civil rights cases, in addition to providing general representation
to individual and business clients in cases involving domestic relations,
property disputes, personal injury, workers compensation, construction
disputes and other matters.
The members of the Litigation Section are also committed to and represent
clients in many cases involving alternative dispute resolution "ADR",
and regularly appear for clients in arbitration and mediation sessions.

Estate Planning and Probate
Minor, Bell & Neal offers a range of estate planning services from
a simple Will to sophisticated family wealth protection planning. We assist
clients concerned with estate, gift and income tax issues through family
owned partnerships and LLCs, charitable arrangements (CRUT, CRAT, CLT,
Foundation, etc.), irrevocable life insurance trust, minor trust, current
gifting, living revocable trust, and other opportunities. We will also
review issues relating to Medicaid Recovery Program and the assets of
nursing home patients. Minor, Bell & Neal offers a full range of services
in probating Wills, administering estates, after death tax planning, Will
contest and other probate issues.

Real Estate
Our Firm specializes in both residential real estate transactions and
commercial real estate transactions. We provide assistance to our clients
in all types of closings and we are an approved closing attorney for all
major lenders in Georgia. We are a member of the American Land Title
Association and currently represent many lenders and developers in the
North Georgia area. We are glad to provide services from the
simplest real estate loan to the most complex commercial transaction.
We have developed an expertise in title insurance law, and our principles
are officers for Battlefield Title Agency,
Inc., one of the leading title agencies in the north Georgia area.
Battlefield Title is an agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company, Ticor
Title Insurance Company and Fidelity National Title Insurance Company,
and handles title examination and title insurance transactions in Catoosa,
Dade, Gordon, Murray, Walker, and Whitfield Counties, Georgia and in Hamilton
County, Tennessee. The close relationship and proximity of Minor,
Bell & Neal and Battlefield Title Insurance Agency, Inc. gives us
an important asset to use in serving our clients. Title related
questions, issues and problems are handled quickly and efficiently, under

ADR Services
In addition to representing clients, Minor, Bell & Neal attorneys
serve as mediators and arbitrators in civil matters. Through its certified
and registered mediators the firm has served as a Neutral in a variety
of civil disputes (other than domestic relations) with an emphasis on
medical malpractice claims, shareholder and partner disputes, estate disputes,
