Valerie Brantley is an associate in the Dalton office of Minor, Bell & Neal, P.C.   Ms. Brantley practices in the areas of litigation, health care, and commercial law.  In her time with Minor, Bell & Neal, Ms. Brantley has also gained significant expertise in family law, with an emphasis in adoption, divorce, and child custody disputes. 

Ms. Brantley is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, and the Conasauga Bar Association.  She is admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Originally from Vero Beach, Florida, Ms. Brantley graduated cum laude from Mercer University on an academic scholarship with a Bachelor of Arts in English, where she completed an honors thesis.  She received her Juris Doctorate from Mercer University School of Law in 2006.  While in law school, she was on the Dean’s List, was a member of the Association of Women Law Students and volunteered with the Mercer Legal Aid Clinic.  Ms. Brantley currently volunteers with United Way’s Adopt-A-Class Reading Program.  Ms. Brantley and her husband, Tray, reside in Chattanooga.
